Ryan is Home!

Thank you all for your prayers. We can't tell you how much they mean to us. Sorry we didn't have a chance to update you yesterday but we were adjusting to having two babies at home! After Lauren's first doctor's appointment we were on our way to visit Ryan in the NICU when we received the call that he was ready to come home. The nurses were great about reassuring us that he was ready to come home, and he has adjusted quite well to the new environment. Most of all, he was happy to see his sister (see pictures below).

Aunt Marnie (Paul's sister) has been staying with us this week and has been a tremendous help. She is an experienced mom, so she's shared a wealth of information with us, which has been great. She's also selflessly helped with day and night feedings which has been wonderful.

We are so grateful that God has completed our family by allowing Ryan to come home. We pray that their lives will ultimately glorify Him.

Ways you can pray:

1. Both Ryan and Lauren are having gas problems. Please pray for wisdom to know how to deal with this. It's so hard to see them in pain.

2. At Lauren's appointment the pediatrician mentioned she has a slight heart murmur. He said it was nothing to worry about and that the majority of murmurs close up over time, but it's something we need to watch. Please pray that it closes! A huge praise is that Lauren has gained 1.5 ounces since Saturday which is a lot for her tiny body. Praise God!

3. Pray that both Ryan and Lauren continue to eat more.

4. Continued physical strength for Paul and Nina.

5. Continued physical healing for Nina.
