Day 4 Update...

We had a little set back today when we found out that Ryan stopped breathing a couple of times throughout the day. The Doctors all say that this is normal for preemie male babies, however, it is still scary to mom and me. Also, this means an automatic 5 more days in the NICU for Ryan.
Prayer requests:

1) We know Ryan will be fine, but please pray that he will get his breathing regulated as soon as possible.
2) Continue to pray for us as we keep trying to juggle feeding/holding/viewing schedules between Ryan and Lauren. Going back and forth between two different rooms makes this quite challenging.
3) Nina and Lauren may be discharged tomorrow, so pray for us as we try to figure out what to do about going home versus staying close to the hospital for Ryan's sake. We have put in a request with the hospital to see if they can give us a room to stay in for as long as Ryan is still in the NICU.

God is in control, and we know everything will be taken care of, but please keep us in your prayers.

I will pray. For Ryan. For you guys. For you to be able to be close to your little guy. I will pray. Thanks for all the updates. May our God's peace rest upon your hearts tonight.

I will pray for you all and especially that Ryan's feeding and breathing issues will be resolved and that you will all be home together soon. They are beautiful babies!

Paul and Nina,
Thanks for keeping us updated by the blog. It is great to hear what God is doing with these new blessings in yall's life. I am and will continue to pray specifically for Ryan (his breathing, eating, and rest), for Lauren (her rest, growth and feeding), for yall (to be near Ryan as he stays in the NICU, a room to stay in at the hospital, quick healing and bonding time with your children). God is faithful and will continue to be with Ryan and Lauren, and yall. I love yall so much.
